The Power of Closure: What 2025 Has in Store As we transition into 2025, cosmic beings, we embrace the energy of the number nine in numerology, derived from the sum of 2+0+2+5. The true brilliance and potential of fresh beginnings will likely unfold with greater power in the following year. Let's explore what majors 2025 might offer, focusing on growth, resolution, and transformation This year presents a powerful opportunity to detoxify our lives. Short Story: Little Dog For Sale

"Little Dog For Sale" A Motivational Short Story

Today, I am again back with a short story, which is a powerful read for you and the children around you. There is always a great thing about these stories, are many of them are legends supposedly hundreds of years old, and there’s always a moral at the end of the story. This story is again one of my favorite which leaves me speechless every times.

A shop owner placed a signboard above his shop that said: “Little Dog For Sale.”

Signs like this always have a way of attracting young children, and to no surprise, a young boy saw the sign and approached the owner; “ Can I see that dog on the sale please ?" he asked.

The store owner replied, “Yes! of course.” The shop owner smiled and whistled. One puppy came out lagging & limping. Immediately the little boy asked, “What’s wrong with that little dog?”

The shop owner explained that, according to veterinarian examination, this dog doesn't have a hip socket. It would always limp and be lame.

The little boy became excited. “That is the puppy that I want to buy. How much for this ?”

Owner replied, Well, I am selling it for $30. The boy pulled out some money from his pocket ,“I have $20.00,” he said.

Becoming a little emotional, the shop owner said, "If you really want him, ’than I just give it to you free.” The little boy got quite upset. He looked straight into the store owner’s eyes, pointing his finger, and said;  “I don’t want it for free. That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs are and I want to pay the price. In fact, I’ll give you $20.00 now, and remaining money by next month”.

The shop owner countered, “ If you really want to buy this little dog, give the money you have, I wave off the rest, because he is never going to run, jump and play with you like the other puppies.”

To his surprise, the little boy reached down and rolled up his pant to reveal a badly twisted, crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace. He looked up at the shop owner and softly replied, “Well, I don’t run so well myself, and the little puppy will need someone who understands!”

Tears welled up in owner's eyes. He smiled and handed over the little dog & said, "Son, I hope and pray that each and every one has a great  heart & understanding like you have."

Moral of the story:

The world is full of people who need someone, who understand them. Like the lame puppy in this story, everybody deserves to be recognized, respected and loved. Every person has his own value and should never be judged by his outward appearance. Everyone each of us has his own weakness be it physical or psychological. We should not let them stop in our journey of self-improvement. Find and surround yourself with people who support you and challenge you to better yourself.
