Perhaps the rain evokes a childlike wonder within you, while the winter brings mood swings that dampen your spirits. Have you ever wondered how to achieve balance and maintain a consistently supercharged state of being? Our experiences with food, weather, and seasons are often shaped by personal memories, cultural influences, and psychological factors. For example, rainy weather might remind someone of cozy childhood days spent indoors, while winter might evoke feelings of isolation or reflection.

As per the thumb rule of science, Good food can trigger the release of dopamine and other feel-good hormones in the brain, leading to instant happiness. Sunlight exposure increases serotonin levels, which can improve mood and energy levels. Rain might evoke nostalgia or a sense of renewal. Seasonal changes, like winter, can affect hormone levels and circadian rhythms, potentially leading to mood swings.

Each hormone and its associated physiological effects can also have spiritual implications:

  • Dopamine: Dopamine is often referred to as the "reward" or "feel-good" hormone. Spiritually, dopamine release from enjoyable experiences such as eating good food can be seen as a reminder of the importance of gratitude and appreciation for life's pleasures. It may also serve as a catalyst for feelings of joy and connection with the present moment.
