The Secret Reason the Universe Favors Some People Over Others
In recent property sales I’ve observed, it’s fascinating how some people, even with limited financial resources, manage to secure a house, while others who seem more eligible or financially prepared fall short. The difference isn’t always about money—it’s about mindset, confidence, and how you present yourself. Those who succeed often approach the process with clarity, preparation, and a quiet certainty that they belong in the deal. Timing, communication, and personal connection with the seller or agent also play a huge role. The real lesson? In competitive markets, belief in yourself and thoughtful action can sometimes outweigh raw financial strength.
We’re venturing into the intersection of psychology, personal belief, and the “universe” or life outcomes. Let’s break this down carefully.
1. Self-Belief and Deservingness
Often, people don’t get what they want because, deep down, they don’t believe they deserve it. This isn’t about morality—it’s about self-perception.
-
If someone constantly thinks, “I can’t have that” or “I’m not good enough”, their thoughts and actions often align with that belief.
-
Subconsciously, they may sabotage opportunities or hesitate to take the steps needed to achieve their goal.
In psychology, this is related to self-limiting beliefs. Believing you’re undeserving can quietly block you from pursuing or even recognizing opportunities.
2. How the “Universe” Reflects Inner Beliefs
Many spiritual or philosophical systems describe the universe as mirroring your inner state:
-
If you feel worthy, confident, and proactive, you’re more likely to notice opportunities, take initiative, and persist through obstacles.
-
If you feel unworthy or doubtful, you might ignore possibilities, miss chances, or unconsciously make choices that reinforce scarcity.
Think of it like a magnet: what you radiate—confidence, openness, fear, self-doubt—tends to attract similar circumstances.
3. Actions Speak Louder Than Thoughts
The universe (or life, in practical terms) often rewards action aligned with belief:
-
People who believe they deserve something take steps to get it: learning, networking, applying, and persisting.
-
People who doubt their worth may procrastinate, avoid risks, or give up too early.
Belief and deservingness are not magic—they shape behavior, which shapes outcomes.
4. The Subtle Trap of Guilt or “Not Enough.”
Some people feel guilty about wanting something (wealth, love, success) or feel they aren’t “worthy.” This creates inner resistance:
-
They may avoid asking for help.
-
They may undervalue themselves in negotiations.
-
They may settle for less than they truly want.
In essence, their mindset works against the outcome they desire, even if the external conditions are favorable.
5. How to Shift This Pattern
To get what you truly want, first, please start by believing you deserve it—success, love, and abundance are not out of reach. Stay on your goals vividly and feel yourself achieving them; this builds the confidence your actions need. Take consistent, purposeful steps every day, no matter how small, to reinforce your belief in your own capability. Let go of doubts, fears, and guilt that hold you back, and replace them with trust in yourself and the process.
Remember, results follow action paired with intention—when you align your mindset with your efforts, opportunities naturally begin to flow. The universe isn’t out to punish anyone—it simply reflects the energy and beliefs we carry. Life mirrors our sense of self-worth, confidence, and the actions we choose to take—or avoid. When we doubt if we deserve success, love, or abundance, we may unconsciously create obstacles in our own path, missing opportunities that are right in front of us. By cultivating self-belief and taking aligned action, we can shift the reflection the universe shows us and open the door to the life we truly want.
Ultimately, your results are never random—they are a mirror of the value you see in yourself.
